Conclusion: In patients with EGFR-mutated NSCLC, first and third generation EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitors, as well as combination therapies with antiangiogenesis, were associated with increased risks of cardiovascular adverse events. Risks were significantly higher with third generation compared with first generation inhibitors.

Is Tyrosine safe? What the research covers
Conclusion: For individuals with advanced EGFR-mutated NSCLC who progressed on EGFR-TKIs, ICI-antiangio-chemo was identified as the optimal treatment option. The toxicity of this treatment was acceptable but needs careful attention. ICI-chemo showed appreciably greater efficacy than the standard-of-care chemotherapy. These findings clarified the roles of ICI-based treatment strategies in this difficult-to-treat refractory population, potentially complementing recent guidelines.
Conclusion: Further, OS benefits of ICI doublets were not inferior to those of ICI + tyrosine kinase inhibitor combinations. Recommendation of combination therapies with ICIs and/or tyrosine kinase inhibitors based on survival benefits and patient pretreatment risk classification will help advance personalized medicine for mRCC.
