Conclusion: The studies were small and the quality of evidence was low. Current evidence suggests that OIT can desensitize a large number of egg-allergic patients, although it remains unknown whether long-term tolerance develops. A major difficulty of OIT is the frequency of AEs, though these are usually mild and self-limiting. The use of epinephrine while on OIT seems infrequent. There are no standardized protocols for OIT and guidelines would be required prior to incorporating desensitization into clinical practice.

The short answer. There isn't much data on Egg Protein yet — 8 mentions, 4 with a clear outcome — so treat these numbers as anecdotal. It is well studied — 4 meta-analyses on PubMed.
From 8 mentions in total — the rest didn't say how it went and aren't counted.

What the research says
Systematic reviews and meta-analyses from PubMed, with their published conclusions.
3+ meta-analyses or systematic reviews and 10+ randomized controlled trials in humans. The grade measures how much human research exists — read the conclusions below for what it found.
Conclusion: There is a need to establish high-quality normal GBEF range for a ubiquitous fatty meal (ie, a meal that would be widely available, easy to prepare, inexpensive, and free of sensitivity-provoking ingredients). A corn oil emulsion, has immense potential as an ideal FMC, limited currently only by its lack of established normal values. Currently, the highest-quality normal GBEF values available for FMC exist for 2 commercial products, Humana Infant Formula 1 and Ensure Plus. However, these products may not be readily available at some institutions, and neither one is free from dietary restriction
PubMed 26222535 ↗Conclusion: This systematic review and meta-analysis showed an association between the early introduction of egg and a lower risk of egg allergy. Furthermore, the nature and dose of egg protein exposure may play a role. These findings should be addressed in the context of primary studies.
PubMed 30184525 ↗Conclusion: Publication bias was not detected. Conclusions: Egg-derived protein supplementation provides clinical benefits in dialysis patients with hypoalbuminemia, but evidence is lacking supporting its routine use in healthy adults or other clinical populations.
