Conclusion: Our findings show that ketamine and esketamine may be more efficacious than placebo at 24 hours. How these findings translate into clinical practice, however, is not entirely clear. The evidence for use of the remaining glutamate receptor modulators is limited as very few trials were included in the meta-analyses for each comparison and the majority of comparisons included only one study. Long term non-inferiority RCTs comparing repeated ketamine and esketamine, and rigorous real-world monitoring are needed to establish comprehensive data on safety and efficacy.

What people say about Sarcosine and mood
“sarcosine + NAC nailed it. I literally cannot tell the difference. I feel so amazing.”
“2000mg sarcosine helps with the emotional blunting often seen in schizophrenia, and it aids cognitive performance through enhanced NMDA signaling. I have taken both for a few weeks and they have helped me tremendously.”
“Sarcosine has been the only supplement that made significant changes when it came to depression and parts of my anxiety.”
“One thing I add to NAC dose (2g or so) is also 2g of Sarcosine (methyl-glycine). This was in a supplement called profrontal. Can add in alpha Lipoic acid as an enhancer. This helps me a ton with anhedonia!”
