“Best results I got with pregabalin, phenibut and sometimes some benzos...Pregabalin makes you feel a little stupid (hard to recall words, you feel like you're slurring your speech) at a dose where it's actually working for motivation and anxiolytic effects (~100-150mg in my case)”

“PRN: Pregabalin 50mg 3x/day (can make me sad/tired/loopy, worsening EF and thus worsening anxiety).”

“I got a prescription for pregabalin and used it for a few days, and it really seems to be helping me not focus so much on myself in social interactions. However, I know it's addictive”

Pharmacological treatments for generalised anxiety disorder: a systematic review and network meta-analysis

Conclusion: To our knowledge, this is the largest contemporary review of pharmacological agents for the treatment of generalised anxiety disorder by use of network analysis. There are several effective treatment choices for generalised anxiety disorder across classes of medication. The failure of initial pharmacological therapy might not be a reason to abandon a pharmacological treatment strategy.
