What the research says
Systematic reviews and meta-analyses from PubMed, with their published conclusions.
At least one meta-analysis, or 5+ randomized controlled trials. The grade measures how much human research exists — read the conclusions below for what it found.
Conclusion: Although HDS-drug interactions and contraindications primarily concerned a relatively small subset of commonly used medications and HDS entities, this review provides the summary to identify patients, HDS products, and medications that are more susceptible to HDS-drug interactions and contraindications. The findings would facilitate the health-care professionals to communicate these documented interactions and contraindications to their patients and/or caregivers thereby preventing serious adverse events and improving desired therapeutic outcomes.
PubMed 23067030 ↗Conclusion: Although the quality of the data does not justify definitive attribution of causality in most cases, the reported risks are sufficient to shift the risk-benefit balance against the use of most of the reviewed herbal weight-loss supplements. Exceptions are Garcinia cambogia and yerba mate, which merit further investigation.

“....TIL don't combine yohimbe and modfinil. check.”
“none of those over-the-counter products worked anything like Yohimbine HCL”
“Excellent pre-workout. Insane stimulant. Doesn't do much for mental benefits... Helps me move faster at work and in the gym. Worth every cent. Only bad experience is over-stimulation sometimes and slight mental shocks.”
“Yohimbe works pretty good too. I've experimented some with that. It's really tricky getting the dosage just right, IMO.”
“Most likely. Stimulants cause anxiety. Unless the pre-workout you are taking has other stimulants in it like Yohimbe, Ephedrine, or Theobromine.”
