3+ meta-analyses or systematic reviews and 10+ randomized controlled trials in humans. The grade measures how much human research exists — read the conclusions below for what it found.

Lancet Oncol · 2024 · Meta-analysis / systematic review
Comparison of first-line chemotherapy regimens in unresectable locally advanced or metastatic pancreatic cancer: a systematic review and Bayesian network meta-analysis

Conclusion: Our findings suggest that NALIRIFOX and FOLFIRINOX should be the preferred options for patients who can tolerate these regimens, with gemcitabine plus nab-paclitaxel remaining a viable alternative, particularly in patients unfit for triplet therapy. Phase 3 randomised controlled trials investigating concomitant or sequential quadruplets are warranted.

Folic Acid and Autism: A Systematic Review of the Current State of Knowledge

Conclusion: Furthermore, methylene tetrahydrofolate reductase (MTHFR) polymorphisms showed a significant influence on ASD risk. More clinical trials, with a clear study design, with larger sample sizes and longer observation periods are necessary to be carried out to better evaluate the potential protective role of folic acid in autism spectrum disorder risk.

Pharmacological and dietary-supplement treatments for autism spectrum disorder: a systematic review and network meta-analysis

Conclusion: Some medications could improve core symptoms, although this could be likely secondary to the improvement of associated symptoms. Evidence on their efficacy and safety is preliminary; therefore, routine prescription of medications for the core symptoms cannot be recommended. Trial registration PROSPERO-ID CRD42019125317.

Modulation of 5-fluorouracil as adjuvant systemic chemotherapy in colorectal cancer: the IGCS-COL multicentre, randomised, phase III study

Conclusion: Nonhaematological toxicity (all grade vomiting, diarrhoea, mucositis, congiuntivitis, skin, fever and fatigue) was significantly worse with FA, while all other toxicities were similar. In the present trial, there was no evidence that the addition of FA or LEV significantly prolongs DFS and OAS of radically resected colorectal cancer patients.
